2014 Canada’s Top Female Entrepreneur #45

In 2014, Karina ranked 45 in the CHATELAINE PROFIT W100 Canada’s Top Female Entrepreneurs. The agency ranks female business leaders according to a proprietary formula that combines the sales, three-year revenue growth rate and profitability of their businesses. All data is verified through financial statements supplied by candidates. To qualify, candidates must be owners or significant stakeholders who at least share chief decision-making capabilities.

Karina also received the above award in 2015, when she ranked 9th for this award and in 2016, she ranked 15th.

2015 Douglas College Distinguished Alumni Award

In 2015, Karina received the Douglas College Distinguished Alumni Award. This award recognizes the quality of our graduates and their contributions to the community. It also represents the caliber of the students that go to Douglas College, and the education, training and inspiration they received here. This award is presented at graduation each year.

2015 Business in Vancouver Forty Under 40 Award

In 2015, Karina received the Business in Vancouver Forty Under 40 Award. Each year, Business in Vancouver celebrates the success of BC’s young entrepreneurs, executives, and professionals by compiling a list of 40 exceptional individuals under the age of 40. According to Business in Vancouver, these individuals have demonstrated excellence in “business, judgment, leadership, and community contributions,” all of which are wholly representative of Karina’s leadership style.

Deloitte 2015 Fast 500 Award.

In October of 2015, Karina’s company received the Deloitte 2015 Fast 500 Award. Technology Fast 500, conducted by Deloitte & Touche LLP, provides a ranking of the fastest growing technology, media,telecommunications, life sciences and energy tech companies – both public and private – in North America. Technology Fast 500 award winners are selected based on percentage fiscal year revenue growth from 2011 to 2014.

Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Pacific Finalist 

In June 2016, Karina received the Entrepreneur of the Year Pacific Finalist alongside Zeeshan issued by Ernst and Young. The Entrepreneur of The Year® has recognized the endeavors of exceptional people who create the products and services that keep our local and global economies moving forward. The EY Entrepreneur of The Year Awards has recognized the achievements of Canada’s top entrepreneurs for the past 31 years. Please see the attached copy of the award.

Karina received this award twice more in June2018 and June 2019.

2017 Shakti Award

in 2017 Karina received the Shakti Award, a celebratory night to recognize women who have made a difference in their communities. Awards are given out in March, in recognition of International Women’s  Day – March 8th, to women nominated by community members in 5 different categories.

2017 Winner – Influential Business Woman Awards

Acquisition International Awards serve to honour the astounding achievements of female business leaders from all industries. Women-led businesses are a driving force of the global economy, radically increasing family income, supporting local communities and providing recovery in times of economic decline. According to a survey conducted by the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), 63% of female business owners in the USA provide 50-100% of the household income, accounting for $432.1 billion in annual payroll.

The Government of Canada celebrated women who have made an impact as pioneers in a number of different domains – including journalism, sports and the military – many of them as the first woman in their field. Launched School Scholarship

Launched an annual scholarship for underprivileged students in developing countries who are looking to attain a Canadian OSSD diploma. This is a 5 year scholarship that provides the student wit opportunities to apply to public Canadia Universities and attain a full post secondary scholarship.

Karina is currently working on her first two books which are due to be published in 2025. She has expressed aspirations for their family to embark on annual mission trips to provide essential services to impoverished children, to establish an orphanage in Pakistan and a homeless shelter in Vancouver as their legacy and expand the scholarship program to hundreds of students.
